sorry folks,
this won’t be something cultural, again only a dumb how-to for a ditzy computer problem … but maybe in the near future more about red wine 🙂
so, back to topic: got some troubles with the audio slider of the winecfg tool. looked over to the winehq page and fonud a lot of useful bug-reports 🙁 they were quarreling about the responsibilities … no, thats a arts-bug … yeah, but why is winecfg trying to access a socket that doesn’t exists … etc.etc.etc.
the solution: download the sources or the newest package for your system! to be up2date, use the repository of winehq …
wget -q http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/387EE263.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add –
sudo wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/edgy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wine
thats all folks!
I read the first two lines and then my mind drifted off, thinking about red wine…
